Free Admission to Supernova for 3 Great Startups
by Kevin Werbach
On Friday, I’m giving away three registrations to Supernova 2008 (which normally cost $1695). Interested? Send me a video explaining why I should pick you.
It always frustrates me when early-stage startups have a hard time covering Supernova’s registration fee. We need to charge what we do. Putting together this kind of conference costs a good chunk of money, and we charge substantially less than events Supernova is usually compared with. But it’s still disappointing that some of the best innovators can’t afford any of them.
So I’ve decided to give three early-stage startups free tickets to this year’s Supernova, which runs Monday through Wednesday of next week in San Francisco. We’ll even provide space to demo during our networking reception at Wharton West.
Email me a 5-minute video (the file itself, or a link) explaining what you would add to Supernova. Be creative; be provocative. Tell a compelling story about what you’re building. I’ll pick the best submissions. This is for independents and non-venture funded startups only! Inability to attend otherwise is a factor.
The deadline is 5pm Pacific Time on Thursday, June 12.
